Red Sky!

At last I've managed to see a red sky this morning, here in the middle of the country. Nothing like the ones appearing from the NE coast but here it is. I was on my way to the Supermarket (together with camera of course!) and saw the red sky to the SE. Didn't have my long lens so had to make do with this shot.

The two plumes of smoke on the horizon are the power stations at Ferrybridge (on the right) and Eggborough (to the left) both not too far away Knottingley, both on the river Aire in West Yorkshire, not far from the A1.

While I was shopping my car was hand washed and polished, all for £5.00. Recently a very small business have set up a car washing service based in the supermarket car park. Lovely people, very friendly and helpful and my car looks pristine!
