It wouldn't be Glastonbury ...

... if it didn't rain. We arrived about midnight last night - luckily Jo came down yesterday and had pitched our tent for us. Unfortunately after the rain had been lashing down for a couple of hours, a small stream was running underneath it so we had to move it at about 2am, squashing it in between 2 others on a field rammed with tents. Today has been a day for wellies and waterproofs but it is going to get better. We saw;
The Subways, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly., KT Tunstall, Candi Staton (who was the best of the whole weekend - she sang Suspicious Minds and everyone was dancing and singing - such a good atmosphere), Editors, Fratellis, a bit of Sinead O'Connor and then we just wandered about all the little tents and stumbled on someone with a fantastic voice - hardly anyone listening to her so we stayed a while and bought her CD - Andrea someone or other. Our tent is next to the Park and the music goes on till about 4am - thump, thump, thump!
