Day 5 - Cool

The weather I mean - not this poseur in his ski kit.

Sorry to bang on about the weather, but we had another big change overnight - the sky cleared and the temperature plummeted, so we woke to cold clear air and blue skies - time for skis!

The village has extensive loipe, so we made our way up through the village to the langlauf hutte and short break, then spent a while on the circuit there, then back to the hotel. About 2 hours in total, enough for our first day in five years - don't want to get blisters, not with two and a half weeks still to go :)

In case anybody is wondering, those skinny skis are the x-country variety; I might give the downhill a try one day though.
