Something blue: swirls of glass

A 105mm macro lens with a set of bellows was needed to get close enough to the bubble in the glass of this paperweight. The large bubble is only about 6mm high.

The great thing about the paperweight is that it only cost a few quid from a gift shop - I think the flaws in the glass add to the textures.

Great fun on a grey, drizzly day.

Given how cloudy it's been here of late, tomorrows Sunset theme might be a hard one to achieve!
