O Tannenbaum...

So, this evening I eventually got round to de-Christmassing the house. Decorations down, cards down and in a heap for sorting, lights carefully rolled and away, baubles boxed, tinsel gathered, tree denuded and chucked unceremoniously on the wood pile.

It's kind of nice to have the house back to normal again - makes you appreciate how nice it is without all the additional razzmatazz. Not that the Christmas razzmatazz isn't welcome, but I'd had enough by now. And I know it's my fault that the decs have been up for so long, but I'm a busy girl you know!
