Amidst the city lights

Another day attempting to write my journal article, or should I say trying to start my journal article. I then jumped on the path train around 5.30pm to head into the city to meet Mikey. Tonight we went ice skating at Bryant Park. Surrounded by the sky scrapper buildings and lights I once again felt very lucky. Mikey proved a dab hand at skating, his enthusiasm to show me how fast he could skate around the rink made me chuckle. As the speed skaters raced passed him I watched his fastest attempt, knees buckling, arms flying 'wow, now that was fast Mike, you almost gave Edward Cullen a run for his money'. This building is one of the many set around Bryant Park. I really liked the lighting in this picture. Once again a lovely evening ended with a naughty lemon sugar crepe.
