Gambel?s Quail Pair

Another happy -to -get- shot. Running late for the golf course, I still took a minute to walk out back. My reward - this quail twosome scooting across the yard. I got off 5 shots, 4 out of focus. Then, I saw, directly in front of me, on the other side of the fence. Bun-Bun. Too close to focus. After eye contact he "turned tail" and hopped away.
