Vusi Mahlasela

My thoughts for today:

1. I love college because there are always extraordinary people that come here. Today in Musicology was Vusi Mahlasela, the inspirational and insanely talented South African guitarist. He made his first guitar from scratch while growing up in Apartheid South Africa. Self-taught, he turned his story into music and became an international influence. I loved listening to him, and I'm grateful that he was kind enough to drop by.

2. Flaming hot Cheetos are really good.

3. Tomorrow is my first big day of the year. Projected schedule:
10-11:30: Class
11:30-12: Food
12-1: Class
1-4:30: Bus up to North Campus, MPowered Career Fair
4:30-5:30: Research Meeting
5:30-6: Bus back down to Central Campus, put on a tie and suit jacket
6-8:30: Chrysler presentation and recruiting
Game on.

Peace.
