Ice lanterns

So here are a couple of the famous ice lanterns I've been talking about in the past week. There's quite a few more of these and each one is unique as the bubbles in the water create different patterns when the water freezes.

I thought these two looked quite nice just before the sunrise shortly after 9am.

I actually wanted to go for a very tight close-up of the bubbles on the wall of a lantern but decided to postpone that for later.

I also wish it was spring and the sun came up a bit earlier.
