Shadows
Each summer the Ferris wheel comes to town - a mini version of the 'Southern Star' in Melbourne. The Southern Star is being rebuilt after it cracked in the 50 degree Celsius heat of Black Saturday 3 yrs ago.
I have been watching it for 18 months now and it is about half complete. I get the feeling because it is taking so long they put a section on and then have to wait for the glue to dry.
Anyway, I went to the beach looking for a blip when I saw the surf boats and thought I could get a brilliant shot of butt cheeks as the rowers always ensure they have skin contact with the seat to improve grip, it was purely for art that I was looking for the shot.
Sadly, like those shots of UFOs that you know now exist because you can see it right in front of you - mine, sorry ladies art lovers, are out of focus.
I will try better next time. Instead you will just have to look at the shadow the Ferris wheel makes on the sand.
