Orchid (Orchidaceae)

This is one of my mother's orchids (Orchidaceae)- they've been in bloom for almost three months now. We know neither the name of the variety nor their age, my mother 'inherited' them from a colleague who retired. She retired herself a couple of years ago but decided to take her flowers home with her. Now they're in bloom up to two times a year.

The weather is absolutely awful- it's cold and raining, absolutely no sunshine at all. Hope you're enjoying a nicer season, have a great time :-)
