A QUIET DAY IN HARTLEPOOL

Although there weren't many people in the park this afternoon the teashop was still open, I'm pleased to say.

The local paper was groping for news this morning. Here's part of a report about the weather:

"Hartlepool and Peterlee appeared to have escaped unscathed with no reports of any damage.
Emergency services did not receive any weather-related call outs."
