The first of many

Afternoon tea? I don't mind if I do! An early birthday treat with Mum because we will be away for her main celebrations.

I spent the morning cutting back strawberries and watching the chickens scrabble around their enclosure. They looked a bit sad (can a chicken look unhappy?) so I got involved and built them some jumps, provided them with a bit of freshly dug soil to pick at and some hanging greens to stretch for (hence the jumps). More may follow to complete this chicken assault course.

Not long until we leave now and I have booked the first weeks accommodation (hurray!). Must try harder with the blips, have missed a few days lately. Once due to laziness and another caused by deleting the photos before downloading them.
