Pensive in the labour ward

Mr C, having carefully made a nest and encouraged his favourite wife to come and sit in it by pecking and gently clucking and squatting in it, he stands by guarding and watching until she lays her egg, before taking her out to proudly strut around the grounds (while I take the egg she forgot about seconds after laying it, for my breakfast)
