One of the things I like blipping.

Pub signs.

I'm overnighting in an old half-timbered hotel in a quaint little village in Norfolk and this is the pub next door. And before you ask, no I haven't been in.

Had a walk round the village as it went dark and was fascinated to find it had not one traditional butcher's shop, but two. Not one baker, but two.

Tried hard to find the candlestick maker, but to no avail.

Had a bite to eat, some work done in the bar - the only place to get the internet, honest - and off to bed now. Up the rickety, uneven stairs, dodge the beams and try to find my room.
