Frozen Pond

I woke up this morning to a beautiful sunrise and a frozen pond out back. It was so fun to watch the ducks come in for crash landings, and fun to watch them as they lost their footing or fel through. A little humor is a good way to start any day!
Last night I took a few night shots of the west hills of Portland, and learned a few things. The moon was out and it was quite clear, so I got a few more moon shots. Then this morning I was able to get the blue heron as the sun was just coming up on the pond. I'll post those on my Flickr page, if you want to take a look.
