This is the wall mural in East Belfast that I planned to photograph when I took this Blip last week. Political wall murals on both sides of the community here, have changed over the years from statements and territorial markers, to become tourist attractions. They're attractive in a morbid sense and certainly the art work is detailed and in many cases worthy of admiration, but I get a sense that they belong to the past and hopefully they will fade when the tourists have lost interest.

To maintain a sense of balance, I will, of course, be Blipping a political wall mural from West Belfast in the coming days ;)
