Pioneer Parkway

For the last three days and into next week, two of us have been commuting to our County Seat of Florence on the Pinal Pioneer Parkway. We see a glimpse of Arizona before the era of interstate highways. This is part of the "back way" to Phoenix. Much of the drive takes you through scrub desert, but there are sights both historic and prehistoric along the way. One of these is the Tom Mix Memorial.
