First Entry
Wasn't too sure what to do for the first blip, kind of had a dull day. Woke up early enough, but Matt (who i work with) didn't come over for a few hours so I sat around doing misc. junk. I then went to Best Buy and bought this camera
New Camera
I'm not really sure what it all does or how to even work it. It's all touch screen so it's kind of neat, but since I'm not used to Sony's interface it's very frustrating right now. I used to be so good with electronics, but there are just some things that go right over my head now. My last camera was a canon and I liked that a lot (the LCD screen became kind of cranky so I gave it away to some lady on CL), but this one I don't know just seemed cooler and I thought well it's the most expensive sony slim one on sale so it must be good.
Although when I came home I read a bunch of reviews and people said it takes poor pictures. I was like huh? how is that possible from a brand new digital camera. I don't know much about photography so maybe they're right, but I thought these were really nice. It's also got some weird features that I didn't even know existed. Like it has a smile detect feature so that if you're taking a picture of someone when it detects them smile then it will take the picture, and if it's a kid and a parent you can set a priority (don't take it until the kid smiles). I will never use this, but sounds interesting enough.
Anyways, so I'm curious in a year what things will look like so here's a few bookmarks for me from today
My desk at work
Warehouse I work in
My snack (which I didn't get around to eating today)
And finally...My Worst Enemy
And that's about it, oh I also went to some DJ's dreamwhere they sell lots of sound equipment
The place was pretty tidy for a warehouse, but still a warehouse.
This guy was great, his friend even gave me a cd they had made. When I was talking to him though I noticed he had a homemade tattoo on his arm (like the ones people put on in jail) so I was wondering what had he done, but I didn't ask.
My friend Matt ended up getting those JBL's but the model that's a lot nicer. They were playing their song on those when we walked in and I wanted to buy them and I only live in a tiny little apartment (it would be nice to annoy one my neighbor ladies though).
Anyways, that was it for today, oh and I had sushi at this cafe blossom place. Doesn't have a fancy or trendy name, but it's delicious and cheap.
Oh and and the blip itself, it's of my ex-girlfriend's cat who I'm currently holding hostage (as you can see she's in a torturous environment). Here's her mimicking MJ. She's pretty cute, but needs LOTS of attention.
