I waited........and they came

My local Lapwing flock arrived in October 2010 and stayed for a month or so.

This year (actually that's last year .... 2011) I have been back since the start of November to see them. It's taken till now JANUARY 13th for them to arrive.

You can't tell me that it hasn't been a weird old mild Winter. Saying that, my fingers are dropping off with cold today.

Slightly blurry chap at the front is a Golden Plover. I usually see them together.
