Sew far, sew good!
Had my second-ever sewing lesson today, during which we made the appliqué motif which will form the pocket of our tote bags. We could choose whatever design we wanted and I went for a butterfly, although I was worried it might be a bit ambitious for a first attempt!
I know this isn't very good - and it's not quite finished yet - but I'm still chuffed to bits with it. Who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks?
I am once again very behind here so apologies to everyone who has made lovely comments on my recent pictures without it being reciprocated! This blip made me laugh this morning, though - glad I'm not the only one!
