Ever bright and fair

Monday Blues

I started this day getting up on the wrong side of the bed, in other words, in a grumpy mood. Having a mid-morning misunderstanding with Mark didn't help. I was in a funky, depressed mood all day, which was not helped a bit by the arrival of a bill for close to $3,000 from my dermatologist. According to the bill, the MOHS surgery I had in October wasn't going to be paid for by my insurance. I was extremely mad because before the surgery I had made at least a half dozen phone calls to both the doctor and the insurance company to make sure it would be covered. After another call to the insurance company, I was told that they had paid the claim last week. So, after another call to the doctor's office, where I was told they still hadn't received payment, the bill and how much I owe is still up in the air. I was told if the insurance company didn't pay it, I would receive another letter before the bill was sent to a collection agency. Oh boy!

Anyway, none of that has anything to do with this photo of Poppy staring at a squirrel laden tree. It just goes by way of explaining why I wasn't in much of a mood for taking pictures, interesting ones at least. This was the only picture I took all day.
