I don't know why she swallowed the fly

Yes, how did we I get to photographing a fly.

It started with me photographing the cats inside the house, outside the house and that is when it happened, I saw a dead leaf and thought why the hell not. As I am photographing the leaf along came a fly and he posed and he posed and he posed some more. Sometimes the beep from the camera made him fly off or sometimes it was a bit of movement but no matter what he came back to the same leaf for more. Fun times I tell you.

Now I was telling hubby that when they're inside I do my best to, how do we say this nicely, nope, can't - keeeeeel them. Swat them, slap them - just about anything when they're annoying the hell out of me but outdoors I'll quite happily 'shoot' them with my camera. Weird that.

And this is the kitty blip that didn't quite make it but I thought it was worth showing to you. I just love how I caught Purdy with her mouth wide open. Looking at those teeth - no wonder she is wearing a bell. I can tell you the birds are feeling happier for it.
