I think I need a trim or something more drastic!!

This is the apple tree in our garden. The houses were built in an old orchard and a tree was left in each garden. This tree has been pruned at intervals over the years, but is enormous and apart from creating considerable shade in a small north facing garden, picking the apples is difficult.

A bumper crop has given us enough apples in the freezer to last (potentially for years), so the tree can have a real short back and sides. Time to ring the specialist!
