Skipping is for girls?
Every week finishes with a circuit training class, run by the cheerfully enthusiastic Jason. Here he is, looking cheerful and enthusiastic.
He loves weights . He loves dumbbell punches. He loves sit-ups, leg raises, lunges, press ups and all sorts of hideous tortures.
I'm probably the oldest student in the class, and I definitely remind Jason of his mother. This is lucky as I think he might be slightly scared of his mother.
Anyway he cuts me some slack , particularly over the skipping which I hate with a passion. Weights I can do. Dumbbell punches I can do. Sit-ups, leg raises, lunges, press ups, I can do the lot.
But skipping? Ptui. Skipping is for girlies.
