Just two out of a possible four days of cyclo-commuting this week. Childcare and guitar-carrying taking care of the other two.

But it was a proper winter morning. Cold, clear, crisp and blue. Well, actually, very red in parts. Beautiful colours, in fact.

A fittingly hectic day at work, a busy but fun evening too. Mrs theWeir is making a First-Birthday cake. It's going entirely to plan, but there's still time to save it.

Perhaps that will be tomorrow's story.
