Soft Silence

I have been stalking this tree (Calliandra or Red Pom Pom Tree) for a couple of weeks now.

I have been wanting to get the buds just as they are starting to pop....unfortunately they are up quite high so it was going to be a bit of an ordeal to get them in macro anyway the sneaky thing is a bit elusive and blooms very quickly so I am going to have to be more vigilant.

Had a short afternoon shower and then the sun came out....soft and lovely.
I love the color of this, it looks like its glowing from the inside the black seeds on the tips are very sweet.
