Shadows, frost and a castle

We pegged out the door this morning to try and capture some frost action before the sun took the land out of its white stasis. We failed, the sun had already melted everything it had touched apart from within the deepest shadows, happily however a castle provided good solid shadow lines.
I have got photos from a more photgraphically pleasing vantage point without the tree and branches but was quite happy to use the branches to dampen down the incredibly bright sun. It also gave me a nicer shadow on the tree basket
