The White Breasted Cormorant

Yesterday was a perfect day with hundreds of photos taken. Today, however, was too windy to venture outside, so sat playing on the computer the whole day. Hence no major photos were taken.

I looked out the window at one stage and saw this cormorant diving and managed tocapture him diving, catching a fish and then taking off, doing a nice fly past. Unfortunately I am all the way up on the 6th floor and don't have a big enough lens to get a decent shot but glad to see he caught some grub.

Don't know much about photoshop so spent some time playing around. Managed to get this far which was quite an accomplishment for my limited skills. I also wanted to document the whole thing on one page. Sorry it's not spectacular but it's a windy day's accomplishment. I'm enjoying trying to indentify the different birds at the moment, although in the Middle East these could have a different name, as I'm using a 'Birds of Southern Africa' book.
