The Arcelor Mittal Orbit

The The Arcelor Mittal Orbit centrer "olympic tower" with the velodrome to the right. Far in the distance just to the right of the sun is the Shard, which will soon be the UK's tallest building.

We were in London for the outdoor show, and by happy coincidence my ticket also got me into the boat show. Sadly didn't meet anyone i knew, but saw lots of outlandish motor yachts, how the other half live.... and avoided buying any more sailing clothing.

After the show we headed to Covent garden my favourite area of london and had an italien in the market. After dinner we had a race down the spiral staircase into the tube station, then off back home.
