Friday, Not Fashion day

She has days like this - suddenly and unpredictably, she has a morning where she could care less what she wears to school. I think she still is very careful about picking out the 'right' T-shirt though....

What ever the reason, fashion was usurped this morning by non-stop conversation, and she did most of the talking. I am grateful that she still talks to me, and she often surprises me with her insight, intuitive thoughts and the questions she asks. With her Dad she asks questions about math and science, and I usually get the word-for-word reiteration of the latest. The latest TV show, the latest movie, or the latest girl-friend spat.

It was a good way to start a gray and foggy, cold and damp Friday morning, even without the fashion!
