Good Times

We are down in Manchester visiting our good friend Chris and Iona. I first met Iona & Chris when we were all footloose and fancy free in our 20's. We loved drinking, dancing and live music and bonded over many a night out. However you will see from the above photo that we have all got older and our lives have moved on. There are now 4 more lives on the world and big nights out have been swapped for nappies and sleepless nights. However, our friendship remains as fun and we value our friendship as much as ever.

Today we went Tatton Park and spent the afternoon at the farm park. It was a beautiful winters day (cold & crisp) and we had a ball. The kids got a run about and we had some much needed fresh air and vitamin D. Tonight our other good friend Rachel is coming over and Iona making roast rib of beef with rosemary potatoes... Yum!!

Muchos alcohol will be consumed and we will reminisce over our old lives & good times. However the fact remains that our friendship is as good as ever and we always have a great time when we visit.
