Sunset on Newmarket Racecourse
Yesterday was a good day because I met with Jill a friend in the village for coffee and a chat. The day was quite overcast and I ran out of inspiration for my blipfoto.
Today started with a really hard frost. Outside the village shop is a wonderful decorative cabbage style flower - I don't know the name but it is purple and very pretty. I have taken the occasional photos of it over the past few weeks but this morning it was wilted from the frost damage. Such a shame.
This afternoon I drove up to the racecourse to take the dog for a walk just as the sun was setting. It was cool up there but there were quite a few people and dogs braving the chilly wind.
