What happened to the diet?

This is my mate Tam, who is the physio for my football club. Lugar Boswell Thistle.
He told me last week that he was going on a diet to counteract the over-indulgences of the festive period.
That's his third roll and sausage and the game hasn't started yet.
He said it was in case they had none left by half time.
