Crowded and Colourful on Ackland St

Crowded and colourful is the only way to discribe Ackland St on a classic Summer Sunday in Melbourne, indeed it's the only way to describe Melbourne in summer full stop. There was so much to see and do today and I took so many photos in hope that something would stand out to blip: Nothing.....and Everything did. There were the beautiful people at the beach, the drag queens at the Carnival festival, the multitude of buskers doing extrordinary things and the soccer fans heading to the game. This picture is of nothing in particular but encompasses everything about today: it's a fabulous day to be out and about in crowded and colourful Melbourne.
