Don't worry, it didn't break in use.

It was retired from use many years ago.

I attended a training day at Lyon Equipment and we tested climbing equipment to destruction.

This was an old karabiner I provided.

As a Member of the Association of Moutaineering Instructors (AMI) I am expected to regularly attend workshops to ensure "Continuing Professional Development" (CPD)

We looked at how and when equipment should be inspected and setting up tensioned ropeways as well as breaking equipment on the test rig.

An interesting and informative day.
