Lathyrus Odoratus

Sunrise, sunset

When I saw this couple walking their dog in the distance it looked to me as if they were walking towards the setting sun. In reality the sun is at right angles to the scene and its only 7.30 am. The sun was just creeping above the South Downs throwing light on the tree tops through the woods but at the end of the track, where the common opens out into an expanse of heathland, the path of the sunlight was uninterrupted, bathing the distant hedge a soft golden colour.
