The Sun Rock or Twittering Rocks

The Sun Rock or Sonnenstein did a good job collecting the warmth on his side of the Seewoog.
It was freezing cold in the shade on the other side of the little lake.
The lake itself was frozen.

While I was there I was very pleased to hear so many different birds, but I couldn't see any...
It took me a while to discover that the twittering sound was caused by little rocks sliding across the ice (and the children throwing them had tons of fun).
So did I (after rolling my eyes at myself for stupidity).
