New for old?

Today was my last day working for Help the Aged so I decided to blip the shelving...including a display of cleaning products!

It seems that the days of interesting curios, useful bric-a-brac and serviceable used clothing being the things to be bought in charity shops has become a thing of the past! Nowadays there is an increasing amount of new products, brought in to raise the profits of the charity. Is this what we want? Do we want to do our everyday shopping in a charity shop or do we pop in for a rummage and to seek out a bargain? I know which has my vote! I think I'll continue to buy my novels in the charity shops and my washing up liquid in Tesco!
