Another canal walk...

cold, crisp, dry & Sunny.

Ideal get out there and have a bracing walk along the canal ..weather

after my disaster ridden cooking attempt this mornin g, i was glad to escape the house..

so how do 6oz flour,4oz butter and 3 oz sugar ever meld into shortbread?
cos i have to say mine didnt, and then when i persuaded them into a kind of biscuit shape and baked them.. i had them too low in the oven & their bums burnt..
thankfully the *MARY BERRY queen of all things baking , didnt let me down with her rock bun recipe though...
i was beginning to think id lost the ability to bake..
