Dropped

Been wanting to try this for years and as you can see the focus is not very sharp. Setting it up was trial and error, using tripod and large bits of white card, glass of water with red food dye.

The difficult bit is trying to focus on where the drop is falling/forming. So I set it on high speed continuous after trying to focus on the pipette I was using to drop the water, trouble is, macro has a very narrow depth of field and coupled with the luck of the picture being taken at the right point I only managed to end up with this best of a bunch of a hundred or so shots !
