The Artist

I went to see The Artist this afternoon. It was really good, and very different to the latest releases, as it's a silent film. The story is a love story, that centres on an actor from the old black and white movie days who struggles to come to terms with the talkies... It really evokes the atmosphere of the originals, with great style and expression... John Goodman plays the cigar puffing movie producer and has some great faces ....There is also a very cute dog in it.....

So I'm much more perky today... I went to the gym for a killer class this morning and then ran to the cake shop in the crisp winter sunshine... I purchased more saw blades but couldn't get hold of a sewing machine foot so instead we went to the flicks...

And this evening, spicy seafood pasta and another episode of Sherlock!
