The kraken awakes

My favourite author is John Wyndham and one of his best books is the Kraken Awakes - which I've just looked through and realise I don't own (or at least can't see...trip to Amazon I think).

Kraken by China Meiville is also pretty good too, and pretty tongue in cheek, and I know that's on my kindle (yup just checked and its there).

The picture is from the aquarium in St Andrews which is an excellent destination in a wonderful town. Spent the morning in the aquarium and the afternoon enjoying the beach and the old town. The afternoon tea break was pretty good too with an excellent coffee and walnut cake.
