Sunsets, Silhouettes and Helicopters

After a bit of a surreal weekend for one reason and another, this photo captures my son's innocence -him just being a boy and doing what boys do best.

We drove up to the highest point in the city as it was a bright and clear afternoon, and I knew the sunset would be worth the wait. To stop my son from moaning about the cold I let him bring a toy helicopter he'd been wanting to play with since Friday, so he ran wild with that while I tried to capture the changing colours of the sky (and avoid the doggers who gather up there at night!)

Anyway, this was the end result, I decided the sunset looked better with my son set in it too :-)
