Ride

Our kids stayed at a friends last night, so we got a sleep in this morning. 9.30-am - yahoo!

Crappy rainy day in Christchurch, so this morning was devoted to the commencement of a new computer setup. I ran out of disk space last week, so being somewhat rash and I bought a new machine with 1.5TB of space. Large. It has taken all day to backup the data from the old machine, slowly transferring now ... Excessive. Yes. I won't need to worry for a while again ... ;-)

Then this afternoon I went out for a ride with a friend. We ventured to a new area, a dirt rode winding into the hills from Birdlings Flat. Grey, cloudy, misty ride; but awesome. Well, except for the fact I haven?t been riding for awhile and after 45 minutes heading up hill I felt pretty sick ...

Never mind, the ride down was awesome, and being a new demo bike that I am considering buying (Giant Trace X0), I of course had to head off road. Fantastic!

Tomorrow I might try to do the deal ...
