Sick Pup

Prise, my pup, woke me up at 4:00 o'clock this morning. She stood on my chest and then proceeded to vomit all over me. I cleaned up and then took her outside for a bathroom break. Upon entering the house, she vomited again. As a result, I decided to bring her to the emergency animal clinic. The vet determined Prise was dehydrated and administered fluid and an medication to control her vomiting. After several hours, she was released. She has been sleeping most of the day, but appears to be feeling better. No dinner tonight though. Only water and if she keeps that down then she can have rice and cottage cheese the next several days. She really gave me a fright today and a high vet bill, but she's worth it!
