Mary and Liffey

I took our little beagle with me to visit my Aunt Mary today. At home, we never allow the dog on the furniture but that rule is suspended when we go to see Aunt Mary. The two of them have hit it off quite well and the normally rambunctious Liffey settles right down onto the provided lap like she knows that too much movement can cause pain.

It has gotten to the point that I don't know which of us Aunt Mary is more happy to see. And that sounds like I just admitted being jealous of a dog!
