Loch Callum Flows

Just half an hour from Thurso lie the waters of the Loch Callum Flows RSPB reserve. The reserve has some stunning scenery with views over Morven to the south, and Ben Hope and Ben Loyal to the west. The wildlife's not too bad either, I've seen Red deer, kestrels, hen harriers and Barn owls today.

This is the river running into Loch Shurrery, it didn't get above zero today so the air was crisp, and the heather frosted and golden. The perfect opportunity to play with my new 17-85 mm lens!
