Through a Glass Darkly
Son T is visiting. It snowed while we relaxed after lunch and belatedly exchanged Christmas gifts. Late in the afternoon he and I took a walk around Lake Padden and enjoyed the best part of the day, photographically speaking. I got some nice shots of the lake as the sun shone on Galbraith (aka Lookout) Mountain.
T drew my attention to the leaves in some frozen ponds just off the trail on the south side of the lake. I like the mysterious dream-like quality of this shot. The engineer's side of my brain tells me the leaf is out of focus, but the other side says it doesn't matter.
Here are a couple of more conventional photos.
