Welcome to My Crazy Life

I do NOT heart New York

Seeing as I originally posted a picture of the tree as it was lit on tv, I figured it was fitting to post a picture when I actually got to go see it in person.

We went on a family trip into NYC today to be tourists. Though we live approximately 10 minutes outside the city, we very rarely go in. We got there pretty early, definitely before 10. We passed a father and two young daughters while we were first walking around and they were checking off all the things they had done in New York. It included eating a NY hot dog among other things, despite the fact that it was before 10 am. Not sure what was going on there but good for them.

We had a fun day traipsing around NYC in what wasn't too cold until the wind started to pick up. We visited American Girl where we dropped off two dolls, each missing a limb, for repair. We also saw the tree, Times Square, Toys R Us, the Lego store, and St. Patrick's. We ate lunch at an Olive Garden in Times Square and sat at a table right next to a window where a poster for How to Succeed in Business overlooked us, so there was a giant DanRad just chillin right outside. It was nice.

Brian, however, did not appreciate the New York style of walking where people just bump into you and do not even apologize. Oh, that kid.
